Pressure die casting, forging, and extrusion: when the going gets hot, tool steels need to be tough—and especially pure. The special properties of BÖHLER hot-working steels are specifically tuned for high-temperature applications. The purity of the steel is critical for long tool life. That is why we do everything possible to minimize non-metallic inclusions.
